aboutusmain

In the world of nuts, macadamia nuts are considered the cream of the crop because of the following reasons:

  • Nutritional value
  • Unique, delicate flavor
  • Fine crunchy texture
  • Rich, creamy color

When you consider and contemplate a Macadamia nut, it is difficult for the ordinary eye to tell the difference in grades that they are individually allocated during processing. All our nuts are of great quality and are grown under the right conditions, grading comes about not as a measure of quality, but as a measure of behavior during harvesting and processing.

This also helps our clients make informed decisions on their preferred AFRIMAC nut. We train our teams to decipher and divide the nuts into these main categories:

Grade

1
This is our premium Macadamia Nut that has passes through all the tests and come out top of its class. The price of this nut is usually much higher than its counterparts and is preferred by most of our clients in Asia.

Grade

2
Our second grade has been popular in Africa and Asia with a relatively lower price compared to grade one but undergoes less processing than its first counterpart.

Grade

4
This grade of Macadamia hardly goes through a lot of processing and is required in it’s most raw form by the client.

Grade

6

Commercial Grade 1
